Baker's Beer Tasting Celebration came together when we realized that Jay Baker, Baker the Freeloader from FM 96 in London, Ontario, was a huge beer enthusiast and used to write a beer blog. We decided that we could partner up and help expose more people to awesome craft beer scene and the great culinary team at Beertown London – what better way to get people talking then, to pair beer and food?! Bakers Beertown Blog was born and the first event came together.
The event was a fantastic collaboration of delicious craft beers from Forked River Brewing Company, Anderson's Craft Beer, Cowbell Brewing Co., Railway City Brewing Company and the Beertown Culinary team lead by Chef Todd Clarmo!

(First Course: Slow BBQ'd Pork Belly Taquitos. Paired with Anderson's Cream Ale)
(Second Course: Devilled Dungeness Crab Egg + House-Smoked Salmon Roll + Pickled White Anchovy Crostini. Paired with Forked River's Raspberry Mojo Rhubarb Wheat.)
(Third Course: Hay Roasted Pork Neck with garlic grits, fried rapini, + mulled apricot preserve. Paired with Railway City's Express Session Lager.)
(Fourth Course: Flourless Chocolate Gateau. Paired with Dark & bitter chocolate, cherry bourbon. Paired with Cowbell's Cinnamon + Cardamom Tripel)
