Inspired at a young age by his grandfather, Nigel began his journey at the age of 15 towards becoming one of Canada’s most renowned chefs. After working throughout the UK and France at some of the finest 3-star Michelin restaurants, Nigel travelled to Canada having been recruited to open the highly acclaimed Langdon Hall Relais-Château in Cambridge, Ontario. His passion next took him to Toronto, to lead large culinary teams at The Sutton Place Hotel and The Granite Club, before recently taking the helm of the Öviinbyrd culinary program. Chef Nigel has mentored many of Canada’s notable Chefs and looks forward to inspiring a new crop of young professionals to achieve their dreams, and further their passion for the culinary arts.

Öviinbyrd, one of Canada’s most prestigious private clubs, is now seeking resumes for this season’s culinary & hospitality brigade. If you are extraordinarily passionate and are focused on advancing your skills and knowledge this is a rare opportunity to work closely alongside Chef Nigel Didcock as part of an intimate, dedicated crew.
